Krótko o pochodzeniu zespołu i jego losach:

Zespół został założony w roku 1992 pod nazwą Groundswell. Pod tą nazwą zespołu wydali swoją debiutancką płytę w 1995 roku o nazwie: Wave of Popular Feelings (nagrywana w latach 1992-1995). Płytę wyprodukowano w 150 egzemplarzach, zajęła 59 miejsce na liście bilboard.

Krążek promowały utwory: “Eddie” (pierwszy singiel), a następnie “Posion Ivey” i “Stare”. Tylko te 3 utwory są nadal rozpowszechniane na stronie fanów Three Days Grace.

Wkrótce po wydaniu płyty w roku 1997 zespół zmienił nazwę na Three Days Grace. Groundswell tworzyło pięciu członków: Adam Gontier (wokal, gitara), Neil Sanderson (tylny wokal, perkusja), Brad Walst (bas), Phil Crowe (gitara) i Joe Grant (gitara). W tamtym czasie, Neil Sanderson grał także z Trevor McNevan w zespole o nazwie Oddball.

Briefly about the origin of the band and its fate:

The Band was created in 1992 under the name Groundswell.
Under this name of the band they released their debut album in 1995 called: Wave of Popular Feelings (recorded in 1992 - 1995).The plate was produced in 150 copies, it had taken 59th place on the bilboard list.

"Eddie" was the first single, then "Poison Ivy", and finally "Stare." These are the only three songs that get wide distribution on Three Days Grace fan sites today.

Soon, after the CD release in 1997 the band changed its name to Three Days Grace. Groundswell was created by five members: Adam Gontier (vocals, guitar), Neil Sanderson (back vocals, percussion), Brad Walst (bass), Phil Crowe (guitar) and Joe Grant (guitar). At that time, Neil Sanderson also played with Trevor McNevan in band named Oddball.
